Curate: Rev Matt Stone
Matt joined us as a curate in July 2020, having transferred from London, and will be with us until the summer of 2022. Matt will be a curate for the North Wiltshire Mission Area, with the majority of his time in the Woodbridge Group, whilst a significant proportion will engage with the ministry of Malmesbury Abbey. Matt writes: “Before the idea of getting ordained ever occurred to me, I grew up in London before getting involved in the creative arts, in London and then working for Greenbelt Festival. I then went on to study Human Rights and getting involved in grassroots community projects. I did my theological training at Trinity
College, Bristol and then spent the first year of my curacy in Islington. I am really excited to join the Woodbridge Group and get involved in the communities and the
mission area, especially in this time when we are beginning to open up churches again. I have lots to learn about rural ministry! I’ll be living in Malmesbury and you’ll see me going on adventures with my children Reuben, Clara and Kit
